Before embarking on a day of pampering and relaxation, we highly recommend booking a room at the historic and newly renovated Kane Manor Inn. They serve a nice breakfast daily from 7:30-9:00 AM, and this will also allow you to have a private and quiet place to rest your feet or freshen up at any time.

Begin the day at Drift with an hour-long float (ask your Dr.) or Reiki session. This will ensure that you start off your day nice and relaxed. Remember to eat a small snack or breakfast before your session.

Kane Business BINGO 2020

Tomorrow (Saturday, 11/28) starts Kane Business BINGO! We have 24 businesses and 1 FREE space that makes up a BINGO card. Here’s how it works:

    • When you go into any of those businesses or make a donation to the non-profits listed, they will put a stamp on their name on your BINGO card. Once you get BINGO (horizontal, vertical or diagonal) you drop off or mail in that BINGO card to the Chamber office to be entered to win a $50 Kane gift certificate.
    • There is a place to pick up new BINGO cards or leave completed cards at the Chamber office after hours. BINGO cards are also available online.
    • There are 3 versions of BINGO cards (Click on each card number to view or print: BINGO Card 1, BINGO Card 2, BINGO Card 3)
    • You can submit as many cards as you want. The more you shop in Kane, the more chances you have to win!
    • BINGO runs from 11/28 – 12/23 and a winner will be drawn on 12/24.

Town Branding Project Info

*LONG POST ALERT! There’s just so much great information we want you to know about the town branding project!*

The Kane Chamber of Commerce, which is part of the Kane Area Development Center (KADC), is coordinating an effort to create a town brand. The brand will bring a unified and consistent look to marketing and communication pieces used to promote Kane, town wayfinding signage and the Kane website. To get input from as many people as possible, the KADC is asking the Kane community, alumni, visitors and regional neighbors to complete the Kane Identity Survey by October 5, 2020.

A brand can be hard to define and to come up with, so the Kane Chamber is consulting with Ben Muldrow from Arnett, Muldrow & Associates. Ben’s firm has worked with over 500 communities in 40 states to help with projects like this.

Kane Area Restaurants Updated Hours & Take-Out Information

On March 16th we learned that restaurants are not able to have diners come in to sit and eat in order to take preventive measures against COVID-19.  So, our resourceful business owners have made changes to how they will provide you with their delicious food and drinks.

Below are the hours and service information of Kane area restaurants as of March 17, 2020. Everything is subject to change as time goes on, so please find each business on Facebook, LIKE their page and stay up-to-date on the most current information. I have linked the business name to their Facebook page to make it really easy for you to find- just click on the business and you’ll be taken to their page!

There are some places who serve food that are still working out the details of how they will continue to provide their products. They are listed with the link to their Facebook page so you can remember to check back on them.
