The Teen Club was the place to be in Kane in the 1950s! Leo Niklas worked there during high school and today shares a few stories about it.

Prior to the Teen Club, teens in Kane spent Thursday nights at Co-Ed above the Temple theater. What was the YWCA area was turn into an area with ping pong table, a snack bar and dance area. Local bands, (high school students mainly) would provide the music and it was very well attended. Open from 7 until 10 one night a week. Parents were chaperons and oversaw the snack bar.
