Olmsted is a retreat center located on Rt. 6 in Ludlow, PA, ​available for group retreats, individual getaways, and event rental. Olmsted has been operating since 1969, when the descendants of George and Iva Olmsted donated their family estate to the Western Pennsylvania Conference of the United Methodist Church. Surrounded by the Allegheny National Forest, Olmsted provides an ideal space for individual, family, and group retreats. Our facilities include unique overnight accommodations, meeting spaces, on-site dining, and beautiful grounds that are open to booking year-round. Olmsted is also a popular choice for groups to hold workshops and seminars, and has plenty of space to accommodate civic or corporate meetings and conferences. Olmsted strives to provide our guests with Christian hospitality and a sense of peaceful refuge. Church small groups, local organizations, mission teams, quilting guilds, youth groups, photographers, families, and many more – we welcome you to come away.
