Biographical Info

Northern Pennsylvania Regional College (NPRC) is a two-year, open admission, accessible, and affordable institution of Higher Education serving nine counties in northern Pennsylvania. (Cameron, Crawford,  Elk, Erie, Forest, McKean, Potter, Venango, and Warren).  NPRC offers Associate Degrees, Workforce Development, and Dual Enrollment opportunities to individuals in the region.  Classes are offered at more than 20 locations via real-time interactive television technology and connects multiple classrooms together to ensure students can connect with their instructors and peers.  Dual enrollment courses are $60/credit and degree courses are $185/credit.  There are six “hub” locations where Student Success Specialists are to help students apply, enroll, and provide additional support services.  Programs include Associate Degrees in Business, Liberal Studies, Criminal Justice, Early Childhood Education, Social Sciences, and Customized Workforce Training for businesses.  The local site is the Kane Area High School.  NPRC is authorized by the Pennsylvania Department of Education to grant Associate degrees and certificates in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania and proudly pursuing accreditation.
