Biographical Info

Crescent was founded in 1973 by the Italian born immigrant Nicola Mangione located at Crescent Park in Warren, PA. Nick started Crescent Beer with himself and 2 part time employees representing Anheuser-Busch & Schmidts. Crescent Beer began to grow and needed more room so they moved from Crescent Park to Fourth Avenue. During this time on Fourth Avenue business expanded the building saw 4 major renovations and added Pabst, Heilman, Stroh, Pittsburgh Brewing and Yuengling. In 1999 and 2000 Crescent Beer purchased additional distribution rights to complete their current footprint which is Warren, Forest, Mckean, Potter, Elk, Cameron, and parts of Jefferson and Clearfield counties.  Crescent Beer’s current location in Mount Jewett, PA was established in 2002. Crescent Beer employs 25 full time employees, who have full medical benefits and family sustaining wages. Crescent Beer currently services approximately 400 accounts with over 1.1 million cases of beer annually.
