Day 30-Story of how one person can change a life
Barry Johnson is a 1969 Kane High graduate with great stories to share about Kane. His father, Vern Johnson, was the Kane Area High School superintendent for years. If it wasn’t for one person who Vern reconnected with on the train home from serving in World War II, the entire course of his life could have been very different.
Barry was an athlete in high school, playing football, basketball and track. In a ten year period, seven Kane football players went on to play at Penn State, including Barry. He shares about a few of the Penn State coaches and their visits to Kane.
Watch Barry share these stories and tell why he loves Kane.
