The Borough of Kane plans to plant additional street trees between the sidewalk and the curb throughout the borough. We are looking for homeowners who would like to be considered for our planting program. Trees have a much better survival rate with property owners who want to shade trees. If you would like to be considered for this program, please complete this form or visit the borough office to complete a paper form. The Shade Tree Commission will visit your property to determine whether it is suitable for planting. If it is, we will also determine what type of planting is best suited there. Plantings will be conducted during the spring and/or fall for best survival rates.
