We are nestled in the heart of the Allegheny National Forest with close proximity to Twin Lakes and the Allegheny Reservoir. Because we are at nature’s doorstep, we have access to some of the best outdoor recreation found in the United States. Whether you prefer hiking and biking to hunting, fishing, cross country skiing and motorized sports, we guarantee there is an activity that you will love.
While Kane is an excellent place to visit, it is also an excellent place to live and create or relocate a business. Just ask any of our 5,400 residents or 300 local businesses in the Kane area. Recent infrastructure developments now set us apart from other rural communities. The most recent development was the building of a fiber optic telecommunications ring.
