Welcome to Kane, Pennsylvania the Black Cherry capital of the world. Kane has a rich history and a diversified economic base largely related to natural resources. We are nestled in the heart of the Allegheny National Forest with close proximity to Twin Lakes and the Allegheny Reservoir. Because we are at nature’s doorstep, we have access to some of the best outdoor recreation found in the United States. Whether you prefer hiking and biking to hunting, fishing, cross country skiing and motorized sports, we guarantee there is an activity that you will love.
While Kane is an excellent place to visit, it is also an excellent place to live and create or relocate a business. Just ask any of our 5,400 residents or 300 local businesses in the Kane area. Because of this new capacity several local businesses including the community hospital will be able to expand in ways never thought possible. We hope that once you learn about and visit Kane you will see the endless possibilities that exist here.
