Hometown Hospitality Summit: Making Visitors Feel Welcome
June 14, 2020 at Kane Country Club (6654 Route Six, Kane, PA 16735)

Morning session, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.: This is geared toward front line workers in the service industries that have first contact with visitors (hotels, restaurants, gas stations, retail stores, etc.), training managers and business owners. High school students working in the industry are also encouraged to attend! Here’s the schedule:

12 p.m.- Lunch provided for anyone participating in either session. Morning session only people feel free to stay for lunch and afternoon session only people feel free to come at noon!

Afternoon Session, 1 -4 p.m.: This is geared toward business owners, particularly those that own businesses that engage with visitors to your town. But any business owner is welcome! Here’s the schedule:

There is no cost to attend this event, thanks to a grant North Central PA Regional Planning and Development Commission awarded to the Kane Chamber of Commerce to cover the costs for the day.

The Kane Area Development Center is partnering with North Central PA Regional Planning and Development Commission, Northern Pennsylvania Regional College, PA Wilds and Clarion University Small Business Development Center to bring together a great team of speakers and presenters.

We would love to see a large turnout from the rural, northwestern part of the state, particularly the counties where our event partners serve: Armstrong, Cameron, Clarion, Clearfield, Clinton, Crawford, Elk, Erie, Forest, Jefferson, Lycoming, McKean, Potter, Tioga, Venango and Warren counties.
