Tabor Lutheran’s Advent Wreath Workshop

Tabor is offering the opportunity for families or individuals to make Advent wreaths to be used in their homes. Lance and Brandy Schimp and family have offered to pick ground pine and organize the event. The wreath will be assembled on a metal ring with holders for four candles to be lit the four Sundays in Advent.
Each family or individual is being offered a ring and supplies to assemble the wreath on Sunday, November 13, 2022, during the Sunday School hour. This coincides with the coffee and treat Sunday, so those attending can create a wreath to take home and enjoy some conversation and treats while working.
Each Advent ring costs $10.00. Families can choose to return the wreath to the church after Christmas, and there will be no charge for the ring. Or the ring may be purchased for $10.00 and kept at home until the following year.
There will be a sign-up sheet in the Narthex to order your supplies. You may also contact Brandy Schimp directly. One wreath per household will be available on November 13. Please sign up soon so we know how many supplies are needed.
