Kane’s National Night Out

Please join the Kane Police Department, the Pennsylvania State Police, the McKean County Sherriff’s Department, and the Kane Volunteer Fire Department at the Kane Fire Hall, located at 50 Poplar Street, on Tuesday, August 2nd from 6PM to 8PM as we take part in National Night Out.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safe, more caring places to live.
During this free family friendly event, attendees will have the opportunity to meet and speak with local law enforcement agencies as well as the local volunteer fire men and women. Police cars and firetrucks will be on hand for viewing, as will specialized equipment and informational materials. The fire department will be serving hot dogs and the Kane Lions Club will have cotton candy and snow cones. All in the Family will be there providing DJ services and balloon animals and volunteers will be on hand for face painting. And new this year… Dunk an Officer! Come ready with your best pitching arm!
This event is held nationwide, with over 38 million people from approximately 16 thousand communities from all 50 states, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide participating.
