DESCRIPTION:Been looking to get more involved?\nVolunteer info session features over 20 organizations!\nDear Friend of KADC\, \nHave you been wanting to volunteer but don’t know how to get involved? \nOr maybe you’re not sure what organizations are looking for volunteers? \nDo you wonder if your talents and skills are needed somewhere? \nWhether you have an hour or endless time available\, we want to help you get connected! \nOn April 26th at 10 a.m. will be the first volunteer info session where interested people can come and learn about alllllllll of the opportunities out there. You will leave that day with a connection to the organization of their choice. \nCLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR VOLUNTEER INFORMATION SESSION ON 4/26 on the 3rd floor of the Six&Kane building (63 N. Fraley Street). \nThanks to funding from the Collins Foundation\, we have been recording people from 24 Kane area volunteer organizations sharing their mission and passion and WHY it matters to get involved. \nThe volunteer training involves the video\, a packet with all of the volunteer opportunities and info on all the organizations\, how much volunteer time is involved for each volunteer commitment\, and great conversation with others who attend! \nThis is something we plan to do quarterly. \nThis is for:\n✅ People new to our community looking to get plugged in\n✅ Recently retired people\n✅ High schoolers who need service hours\n✅ Busy professionals who want to nurture their volunteer interests outside of work and home life\n✅ Families who want to volunteer together\n✅ Anyone who has any time or talent to give \nWe are hopeful this can help bridge the gap between willing people and volunteer organizations in our community.
