“Blue Heron” Exhibit at Artworks on the Summit

The Artworks on the Summit art gallery in Kane is hosting a “Blue Heron” exhibit in August. To encourage creative work in our community everyone is encouraged to submit a work of art for the display. The focus of the exhibit is the great blue heron, one of the largest and most interesting birds in our area.
After the passing of longtime ArtWorks member Betsy Wile, members of the gallery began brainstorming ideas to honor the amazing artist. The Blue Heron Exhibit came to mind as it was one of her all time favorites.
The exhibit will begin on August 13, 2022 and the display will be up through the middle of September. The Blue Heron exhibit is open to the public.
Whether it is a painting, drawing, sculpture or simply a craft with the colors of the heron, all are welcome to participate and submit a piece of artwork.
To be included in the exhibit artwork should be dropped off at the gallery during open hours (Thursday, Friday & Saturday 11am-5pm) before August 12 and can be picked up at the gallery after September 18, 2022.
