Kane Area Industrial Development Corporation
(KAIDC)

The Kane Area Industrial Development Corporation (KAIDC) works to identify, build and promote new and established businesses and industry, retail development, and tourism opportunities in the Kane area of Northwest Pennsylvania. In addition, this organization strives to create an environment for new entrepreneurial economic opportunities, job creation and a spirit of inter-governmental cooperation.

Business Development Opportunities

The KAIDC will help businesses find acceptable commercial, service, and industrial space. We maintain an up to date inventory of available property. The KAIDC owns and manages a multi-tenant facility on Route 321 S., which has over 32,000 sq. ft. under roof.

The Kane area has a motivated labor force available to meet the needs of local employers who are considering expanding and those businesses considering locating new facilities in our community. Due to the proximity to other large communities, a professional, skilled and entry level workforce can be established.

The KAIDC is familiar with numerous economic development programs available at a local, regional, state and federal level. We maintain a very close working relationship with several state agencies, the Governor's Action Team and other economic development agencies.

Several Keystone Opportunity Zone (KOZ) properties are available in the Kane area. While many will expire in 2010, several have benefits through 2013. For a listing of all KOZ properties in the Kane area or additional information, please call (814)837-6565.
